As a Foot Health Practitioner, I specialize in the treatment of corns or callus. My training and expertise enable me to treat a wide range of foot conditions , including fungal infections, corns and calluses and ingrown toenails
With a strong commitment to patient care and wellbeing, I work closely with my clients to understand their concerns and develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs. I use a variety of techniques and treatments, and foot care education, to ensure that my clients maintain healthy feet.
My passion for foot health and wellbeing drives me to stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field. Through ongoing education and training, I continuously enhance my knowledge and skills, and apply them to deliver the highest quality care to my clients.

Infection Prevention and Instrument Sterilization
At Feet Care by Maria, we use an Embio Medical Autoclave as part of our professional infection-prevention routine for reusable instruments. Controlled steam sterilization, using high temperature and pressure, ensures that instruments are sterile before every appointment. Our process follows these steps: Pre-cleaning: after use, instruments are pre-cleaned to remove visible debris. Manual cleaning: Each instrument is thoroughly scrubbed using a suitable brush and detergent. Ultrasonic cleaning: Instruments are placed in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove contaminants from hard-to-reach areas. Rinsing: They are rinsed with clean distilled or deionized water to remove any remaining detergent. Inspection: Each instrument is checked for cleanliness, damage, wear and corrosion. Moving parts are also tested to ensure they function correctly. Packaging: Once clean, dry and inspected, instruments are sealed in sterilization pouches. Steam sterilization: The packaged instruments are placed in the Embio Medical Autoclave and exposed to high-pressure saturated steam, typically at 121-134°C, for the validated cycle time. Storage: After the cycle has been completed successfully, the sterile pouches are stored safely until the instruments are required. This thorough process reflects our commitment to cleanliness, professional compliance and patient confidence.
